IM_PULSE – The participatory social project is a public artistic intervention and signal of our deep physical and mental impulse to empathy towards fellow people as also all interdependently life forms of our global environment (…).
Previous projects such as „My heart in…“, whereby buildings in Brazil, and in other places, became light sculptures by connected to my heart, now is intended to be realised in the middle of the public the ‚citizens‘ art project ‚IM_PULS,. This project is used the most visible building in the city (see background: The Shard, London) which will illuminated by the hearts of people from different parts of the country. The far visible collective art project involves citizens from all social classes, such as children, homeless people, teachers, hospice patients, taxi drivers, people from public life and many others.
From the group of 25 (+/-) participants, just one person per night (= approx. 25 nights) will broadcast the live pulse via the building and by this medially far abroad the city boarders. This hidden, individual heartbeat will be transmitted by a modified watch. All participants vitas, wishes, hopes,… will be portrayed in advance and presented through especially social media.
The central concern of this project is the plea for diversity, solidarity and respect. For each other as well as for the entire living environment. For a common shaping of the inevitably changing societies as well as the protection of our natural resources (…).
